What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with customers to understand their operations and transform ambiguous requirements into functional software.
- Create targeted demos, conduct early tests of ideas, and implement complete full-stack features for production.
- Translate field requirements into precise specifications for engineering teams.
- Determine which customer solutions should be evolved into reusable product capabilities.
- Provide coaching to engineers regarding scoping, delivery, customer communication, and technical decision-making.
- Work in partnership with product, machine learning, infrastructure, and engineering teams to ensure successful deployments.
What We’re Looking For
- Over 5 years of experience in forward deployed engineering, field engineering, or a similar customer-facing engineering role.
- Strong full-stack development skills with proficiency in TypeScript and React, as well as experience in Python or Node.js.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering production software tailored to customer needs.
- Confidence in engaging directly with enterprise stakeholders, including onsite meetings when necessary.
- Capability to lead and mentor others while remaining actively involved in the codebase.
Experience with AI products, enterprise deployments, or operationally intricate industries will be considered a plus.
