Head of Infrastructure and Enterprise Architecture

The Head of Infrastructure and Enterprise Architecture is responsible for leading and managing the IT infrastructure and enterprise architecture of Mashreq Bank, ensuring alignment with the bank's business strategies and objectives. This role includes overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of Mashreq's IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance. Additionally, the Head of Infrastructure will develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework to support scalability, flexibility, and technology integration that aligns with the bank's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT Infrastructure & Enterprise Architecture strategies aligned with business goals.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networking, virtualization, and storage.
• Manage large-scale IT infrastructure and enterprise architecture projects.
• Lead the development and enforcement of IT governance policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop cloud infrastructure strategies and oversee the migration to cloud-based solutions.
• Keep abreast of trends in IT architecture and infrastructure to incorporate innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

• Over 15 years of IT experience, preferably in banking or financial services, with at least 5 years in an Enterprise Architecture role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, storage, and server administration.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects and teams.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to the banking industry.

Language Requirements:

• Proficiency in English is required.
