Position

As the Head of Seller Services, you will own one of the key growth engines for the company in Saudi Arabia. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team focused on expanding the company’s selection and ensuring the success of brands across a diverse portfolio of categories. This role requires identifying current selection opportunities, collaborating with existing brand owners, negotiating with missing brands for their launch on the company, and developing innovative solutions that help Selling Partners thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution:

    • Define and implement 1-3 year strategic objectives.
    • Establish frameworks for resource allocation and priority management.
    • Drive cross-functional alignment with the organizational strategy.
  • Team Leadership & Development:

    • Create empowering environments for independent decision-making.
    • Mentor leaders on strategic thinking and operational excellence.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Operational Excellence:

    • Design and implement audit mechanisms for customer experience and quality.
    • Develop scalable solutions for complex operational challenges.
    • Create mechanisms to evaluate and optimize cross-team collaboration.

A Day in the Life:

  • Lead the marketplace seller strategy and operations to drive growth through seller acquisition, retention, and optimization of the seller experience.
  • Build and manage a high-performing seller services team, including onboarding, account management, and support functions.
  • Establish and track key performance metrics (KPIs) for seller success, while developing improvement programs.
  • Partner with product, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to enhance the seller experience and drive platform growth.
  • Oversee seller communication strategy, developing educational resources, training programs, and support documentation.
  • Manage escalations and strategic seller relationships, ensuring compliance with marketplace standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or sales-engineering, preferably in technology, internet, or e-commerce sectors.
  • Experience in positioning and selling innovative solutions to customers and market segments.
  • Proven track record in successfully leading and developing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sales team management experience.
  • Knowledge of procurement and source to pay processes.
  • Experience in e-commerce and data analysis (advanced Excel and database analysis).

Work Conditions:

  • Full-time and on-site work required.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English is preferred.
