Responsibilities
- Drive product strategy, product roadmap, and product development
- Develop a mass market customer proposition
- Gain a deep understanding of the audience’s needs
- Align stakeholders, direct the product roadmap, prioritise features, build consensus, and coordinate product schedules with the wider business
- Define, hire, coach, and mentor a full team of product managers
- Foster a culture of testing, data-driven decision making, and accountability for metrics and results
- Stay hands-on; while the role includes line management of product managers, initially it will just be you
Requirements
- Strong background in consumer mobile app and/or fintech product management experience
- Experience in payments (acceptance and payouts), e-wallets, or prepaid cards is a must
- Experience in consumer finance or business finance is a plus
- Product team leadership experience
- Proven success in delivering consumer-facing products that drive real user value and meet business financial goals
- Ability to leverage both user experience and A/B testing to find product/market fit
- Capacity to create structure out of ambiguity with a pragmatic "can do" and "make it happen" attitude in a collaborative way
- Experience managing teams across different countries is a plus
- Language skills: French is an advantage
