Key Responsibilities:
- Data Management Framework: Implement a comprehensive framework for managing risk data, including data capture, organization, storage, and analysis for developing, validating, and implementing risk rating models and scorecards.
- Data Science Expertise: Lead the implementation of policies and systems designed for effective data management for modeling purposes.
- Project Management: Act as a leader in project management, preparing detailed plans, managing resources, tracking projects, and providing regular updates to key stakeholders.
- SCRUM Master: Utilize AGILE methodologies to manage complex projects, solve problems, and coach team members.
- Risk Management & Analysis: Oversee the implementation of risk rating models ensuring compliance with IFRS 9 and Basel requirements while leading the team in various risk analytics and validation tasks.
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required:
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in Risk Management with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role focusing on Basel, IFRS9, Risk Architecture, and Credit Modeling.
- A degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, etc.) from a reputable university.
- Proficiency with statistical software (SAS, Python, R) and a strong understanding of banking operations and financial markets.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
