Head of Security Systems

About the Role
The primary responsibility of this position is to manage both preventive and corrective maintenance performance for all security systems. The role requires leading subject-matter experts to ensure appropriate certified technical coverage and competency. Additionally, it involves reviewing and approving technical method statements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and preventive maintenance schedules. This position provides essential technical input to the Change Advisory Board for system changes and monitors discipline performance. A key aspect of this role includes leading root-cause analysis and preparing problem management reports for the Service Delivery Manager. The aim is to ensure high system availability, compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA), timely completion of preventive maintenance, and a reduction in repeat incidents.

Responsibilities

• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance performance for all Security Systems.
• Lead subject-matter experts to ensure certified technical coverage and competency.
• Review and approve technical method statements, SOPs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Provide technical input to the Change Advisory Board for system changes.
• Monitor discipline performance and lead root-cause analysis, reporting to the Service Delivery Manager.
• Ensure high system availability, SLA compliance, and completion of preventive maintenance while reducing repeat incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, IT, or a relevant technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with relevant security systems in a large enterprise or airport environment.
• Relevant certifications in security-system technologies, particularly Milestone VMS and physical-security systems.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Strong technical knowledge of CCTV, video surveillance, VMS platforms, servers, and related security infrastructure.
• Strong OEM/vendor management and technical escalation experience.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
