Responsibilities
- Serve as the Chief of Staff to the CIO, providing strategic support and ensuring disciplined execution of Technology strategies.
- Translate strategic intent into measurable outcomes, KPIs, and governance structures, ensuring alignment with the bank's goals.
- Operationalize Technology strategies, managing priorities, investments, and performance to drive organizational effectiveness.
- Act as the central authority for Technology governance, coordinating and communicating with stakeholders across the enterprise.
- Manage and lead a high-performing TMO team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Ensure effective cross-border and multi-entity stakeholder management, building strong relationships and maintaining stakeholder confidence.
- Provide regular performance management updates, communicating Technology's value and impact to the organization.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, driving continuous improvement and innovation within Technology.
- Collaborate with Technology leadership to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring a robust and resilient Technology function.
Requirements
- 12-16 years of progressive experience in Technology, Program Management, and Banking, with a proven track record of leadership.
- Demonstrated experience operating at the CIO/ExCo interface, influencing enterprise-level decisions and strategies.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations and the ability to navigate a regulated banking environment.
- Excellent project management skills, with certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Strategic thinking and a results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving organizational performance and impact.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced Technology environment.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
