Key Responsibilities:
- Own and lead the entire trading technology domain, including matching engine, market data systems, market connectivity, risk control modules, core infrastructure, and trading security.
- Oversee high-performance engineering teams and align technical priorities with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with trading desks to advance technology in line with market trends and new product initiatives.
- Architect and optimize trading systems for low-latency execution, high throughput, and resiliency under market volatility.
- Establish technical vision, architecture standards, and performance benchmarks.
- Champion security-first engineering to protect systems against exploits and other threats to market integrity.
- Foster a culture of continuous innovation, integrating best practices from traditional finance and Web3 architectures.
- Act as an executive sponsor for major technology programs, managing budgets and cross-departmental initiatives.
Key Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in building and scaling trading technology at a crypto exchange, stock exchange, HFT firm, or securities trading platform.
- Strong technical expertise in trading infrastructure and engine architecture, particularly low-latency matching and order routing.
- Mastery of C++ tailored for high-performance, low-latency systems.
- Deep understanding of market microstructure in both crypto and traditional asset classes.
- Proven ability to deliver reliable high-performance systems under extreme load.
- Fluency in Chinese is required; proficiency in English is preferred for global collaboration.
