Key Responsibilities:
- Own and lead the trading technology domain, including matching engine, market data systems, connectivity, risk control modules, and trading security.
- Oversee multiple high-performance engineering teams, aligning technical priorities with Bybit’s product and business strategy.
- Collaborate with trading desks to evolve technology in line with market trends and liquidity demands.
- Architect and optimize trading systems for sub-millisecond execution and resilience during peak market volatility.
- Set technical vision, architecture standards, and performance benchmarks exceeding traditional exchange expectations.
- Ensure security-first engineering to safeguard systems against various market integrity threats.
- Drive continuous innovation by adopting best practices from traditional finance and Web3-native architectures.
- Manage major technology programs, budgets, vendor relationships, and cross-departmental delivery.
Key Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in trading technology at a crypto exchange, stock exchange, HFT firm, or securities trading platform.
- Strong understanding of trading infrastructure and architecture, including low-latency matching and order routing.
- Proficiency in C++ for high-performance, low-latency systems.
- Engagement in key architectural decisions, system optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Deep understanding of market microstructure for cryptocurrency and traditional asset classes.
- Ability to deliver high-performance systems that scale reliably and meet exchange-grade SLAs.
- Fluency in Chinese is required; proficiency in English preferred for global collaboration.
