Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the strategic roadmap for the Technology Practice, covering sovereign architecture, multi-cloud solutions, data platforms, AI infrastructure, and cybersecurity alignment.
  • Grow revenue and expand the technology consulting footprint across Qatar's government and enterprise sectors.
  • Identify, assess, and pursue emerging technology opportunities (e.g., edge AI, sovereign cloud, private LLM infrastructure, and zero-trust architecture).
  • Set P&L targets, build business cases for technology investment, and report practice performance.
  • Shape sovereign technology solutions, leading high-performing teams, and nurturing executive relationships within government and enterprise sectors.
  • Originate and secure strategic technology advisory engagements, lead complex RFPs and commercial structuring, and strengthen ecosystem partnerships.
  • Advise clients on multi-cloud strategy, sovereign cloud adoption, private AI infrastructure, and enterprise data architecture.
  • Develop and expand strategic partnerships with hyperscalers and technology vendors while ensuring close collaboration with Advisory and Delivery teams.

Operational Duties

  • Provide executive oversight for technology architecture and AI implementation engagements to ensure alignment with client objectives.
  • Lead technical solutioning for major programs, including assessments, platform selection, solution design, and proof-of-concept developments.
  • Maintain and enhance the organization’s technology capability framework by addressing skill gaps through hiring and mentoring initiatives.
  • Establish and manage partnerships with technology vendors to strengthen technical expertise.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and data privacy regulations across all technology engagements.
  • Monitor practice financial performance, including billing and profitability, implementing corrective actions when necessary.

Qualifications
Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Master's degree (MBA, MSc) from a recognized institution is strongly preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 15+ years in enterprise technology consulting, encompassing multi-cloud architecture and AI.
  • At least 6 years in a leadership role managing a large managed services business and teams.
  • Deep expertise in sovereign architecture and cybersecurity-focused architecture aligned with data sovereignty frameworks.

Desired Skills

  • Strong expertise in Data & AI strategy, including Governance, Advanced Analytics, AI/ML, and Generative AI.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sovereign architecture, multi-cloud strategies, and cloud ecosystems (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Proven capabilities in developing technology offerings, accelerators, and reusable frameworks for commercial needs.

People Management Responsibilities

  • Track employee progress, support skill advancement, and provide mentorship to direct reports.
