Position

The MySQL Global Business Unit is seeking a qualified Sales Representative to sell MySQL Database Service (MDS) and HeatWave (HW) deployed on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and multi-cloud environments. This role combines aspects of both Field Sales and Inside Sales. The representative will work to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory, which may include a combination of geographic, product, and market dimensions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Selling directly or via partners to small-and-medium-sized accounts.
  • Identifying, qualifying, and closing new opportunities utilizing inbound and/or outbound techniques.
  • Managing accounts throughout the entire sales process while collaborating with business development, consulting, and support teams.
  • Conducting onsite customer presentations with C-level executives to negotiate and close strategic and complex deals.
  • Developing solution proposals that encompass all aspects of Oracle's product offerings.

The ideal candidate should possess a proven record in selling cloud services, have understanding of cloud principles, and the ability to articulate Oracle's Cloud Value Proposition and competitive advantages.

Qualifications

  • BS or BA degree or applicable experience preferred
  • 3+ years of direct software IT sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles with a successful revenue attainment record
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Strong organizational skills and a self-starter mindset
  • Language skills: fluent in both English and Arabic
  • 8+ years of relevant sales experience preferred

Candidates should be highly developed in selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills, and demonstrate the ability to penetrate accounts and engage with stakeholders effectively.
