Position

About the Role
In this role, you will assist in monitoring and tracking employee relations issues, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up. You will support management and the leadership team in handling and resolving Human Resources matters while monitoring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and company policies during the hiring and recruitment processes. You will be responsible for informing Human Resources management about any issues related to employee relations, as well as responding to inquiries from employees and management regarding company programs, policies, and guidelines. Your role will also include disseminating information on employee relations, activities, and personnel policies. You will review and ensure accurate maintenance of employee records and files, assist with logistics and administration of annual employee surveys, answer phone calls, and record messages.

Responsibilities

  • Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
  • Adhere to all company safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests per company standards.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, answering phones with appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers and support team goals.
  • Listen and respond to employee concerns appropriately.
  • Utilize computers and/or point of sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
  • Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None
