Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: This role has been designed as ‘Onsite’ with an expectation that you will primarily work from a partner/customer office.

Responsibilities

  • Performs varied tasks involved in controlling inventory; shipping, receiving, storing and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
  • Follows detailed documentation and instructions to gather data and run transactions in appropriate IT systems to support inventory control and team support.
  • Develops an understanding of site functional processes to perform basic operations.
  • Learn and become proficient on various Supply Chain tools and processes.
  • Calls handling application use, ability to conduct ordering and management of material.
  • Understands a broad spectrum of technology to deliver part of a detailed technical design that meets customer requirements.
  • Works with minimal direction from the technical lead and with customer representatives to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Manages the Parts and Logistics of a large scale Support operation and supply chain tasks/reports.
  • Logs cases and follows up till resolution acting as a point of contact for consolidated case management on the site.
  • Participates as part of a team and maintains good relationships with team members and customers.
  • Uses knowledge tools and re-uses information for the benefit of projects and professional development.

Education and Experience Required

  • 3 years of technical experience in supply chain and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, two additional years of relevant professional experience (5-7 years in total).
  • Willing to learn new HPC and Storage technology and boost skills to resolve major hardware support issues.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be responsible for a specific deliverable.
  • Parts Management and Service desk case ownership to closure.
  • Ability to build and provide reports on Parts/Availability/Trends and associated cases in HPC and Customer System.
  • Capable of driving resolution of problems on individual products.
  • Able to communicate broad and specific concepts with team and peers.
