About the Job: The company is seeking an HPC Technology Consultant to provide technology consulting services to external customers and internal project teams. This role involves providing technical support and leadership in crafting and delivering technology solutions tailored to meet our customers’ business needs. The consultant will act as a trusted advisor, maintaining effective relationships to ensure customer satisfaction while staying updated on leading-edge technologies.

Location: Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HPC services, including hardware and software support for massively parallel supercomputer systems, on a 24/7 basis, with availability for standby when required.
  • Support the pre-sales team in scoping and sizing HPC services.
  • Serve dedicated key accounts and lead Center of Excellence support activities.
  • Analyze, qualify, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents with autonomy, coordinating with L2 and L3 teams for specialized issues.
  • Foster collaboration between team members, customers, and third-party partners (e.g. DDN, Red Hat, Altair, Nvidia).
  • Maintain and upgrade HPC skills through research and training.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years experience supporting complex HPC systems and storage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Valid HPC technical and storage system certification required.
  • Experience with HPC equipment such as Cray EX, Cray XC40, CS500, and E 1000/2000 Storage or Cluster Store is beneficial.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, including technical terminology.
  • Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia, specifically the western region (Jeddah).

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Familiarity with workload managers (preferably SLURM and/or PBS-pro).
  • Understanding of cluster management systems and networking/security server components.
  • Knowledge of programming and scripting languages (e.g. Perl, Python, C++).
  • Advanced customer service skills and fluency in English.
