About the Role
You will perform basic and routine duties in a wide range of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) disciplines to ensure compliance with the Environmental Safety & Health (ES&H) standards along with federal and state regulatory requirements. Your role will include assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety and health programs, systems, and procedures. Additionally, you will monitor potential hazards and diseases in the work area, investigate accidents, and recommend improvements to minimize risks.

Responsibilities
- Perform basic and routine duties in EHS disciplines under direct supervision.
- Assist in developing and implementing safety and health programs and procedures.
- Monitor work areas for potential hazards and diseases.
- Collaborate with team members to investigate accidents, injuries, and safety complaints.
- Recommend improvements in processes, designs, procedures, and equipment to reduce hazards.
- Participate in employee training and emergency preparedness initiatives, ensuring program quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of HSE experience in major infrastructure construction projects.
- Mandatory experience in Tunneling Works (TBM, NATM, Cut & Cover, or similar methods).
- Previous experience in Viaduct / Elevated Structure Construction is advantageous.
- Essential experience in High-Speed Rail, Railway, Metro, or Rail Infrastructure Projects.
- Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, risk assessment, and permit-to-work systems.
- Proficiency in incident investigation and hazard identification techniques.
Certifications
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)
- IOSH Managing Safely / Working Safely
- OSHA Safety Certification
- First Aid and Fire Warden Certification (preferred)
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
