Key Accountability Areas

  • Assist in developing, monitoring, and implementing the organization's health and safety policy.
  • Ensure the organization complies with health and safety regulations to reduce or prevent hazards, dangers, and accidents on site.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are established and enforced.
  • Maintain legal requirements for health and safety in the workplace.
  • Inspect the workplace for potential hazards, identify risks, and report findings.
  • Conduct drills, such as fire drills, to ensure proper functioning of equipment and staff awareness of emergency procedures.
  • Respond to and investigate accidents and emergencies.
  • Possess working knowledge of site-specific specialist work rules (with SABIC, SEC, MARAFIQ & ARAMCO, SWCC).
  • Understand the principles of risk assessments and method statements.
  • Carry out all documentation required for access gate passes for all workers at all sites.
  • Fulfill and submit all regulatory documentation for site startup, in process, and closing.

Role Accountability

  • Delivery: Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets as per delivery schedules. Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time. Provide periodic reports detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve related problems and escalate any complex operational issues.
  • Quality: Ensure quality requirements are met by developing effective quality control processes and specifications for products or related activities.
  • Business Process Improvement (Effectiveness): Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, and seek automation opportunities wherever possible.
  • Compliance: Comply with relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

  • Diploma Degree in Occupational Safety & Health Technology

Work Experience

  • 2 to 5 years in a related role.
