Key Responsibilities
- Conduct periodical safety rounds around company premises to ensure a safe atmosphere.
- Maintain and report on the safety and hygienic conditions of the plant and warehouses.
- Ensure that employees wear appropriate clothing and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Check the safe operation and condition of machinery across the production area.
- Oversee the condition and maintenance of fire-fighting equipment.
- Maintain records of daily, weekly, and monthly HSE inspection activities.
- Monitor hot works and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with security regarding visitor movements and access.
- Facilitate safety and first-aid training for new recruits.
- Participate in evacuation drills.
- Ensure unimpeded access to fire extinguishers and hose cabinets.
- Implement fire preventive measures, particularly during summer.
- Monitor drainage and canal conditions, ensuring pest control measures are in place.
- Review facility conditions including roof tops, light shadows, and electrical panels.
- Ensure availability and maintenance of first-aid equipment.
- Provide first aid in case of accidents as required.
- Implement and monitor Occupational Health and Safety Policies, programs, and procedures.
- Promote health and safety awareness at all levels of the organization.
- Investigate and report on serious injuries or accidents involving staff, visitors, or contractors.
- Investigate accidents resulting in damage to company property.
- Address employee safety concerns promptly.
- Respond immediately to fires and emergencies.
- Coordinate the registration and removal of hazardous waste.
- Lead safety training for personnel in areas like first aid, CPR, and accident prevention.
- Assist in emergency situations as required by management.
- Conduct operational risk assessments and design risk mitigation measures.
- Generate and maintain reports related to HSE management, including corrective and preventive actions.
- Propose HSE improvements detailing non-conformance, corrective actions, required resources, and implementation plans.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Proven experience in health and safety roles, particularly in industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to act decisively in emergency situations.
- Proficient in reporting and documentation related to HSE management.

Contract and Travel Details
