Responsibilities
- Serve as the point of contact for all HR matters, including benefits, compensation, training, payroll, and employee relations.
- Oversee performance management, conduct investigations, recommend corrective actions, and lead terminations.
- Maintain regular communication with managers in the UAE to discuss employee morale, areas of improvement, and performance evaluations.
- Address complex HR matters that have been escalated due to risk, urgency, or severity.
- Manage the integration, configuration, and administration of HR systems.
- Define team priorities and timelines while directing team performance towards achieving objectives.
- Act as the primary contact for the entire UAE operation.
- Partner with HR operations on systems related to onboarding, workers' compensation, and leave of absence (LOA) management.
- Approve time cards, modify pay rates, implement one-off payments, and ensure timely payment of employees.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including generating offer letters and auditing background checks.
- Lead various HR initiatives and projects.
- Collaborate with legal to ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5+ years of experience in an HR leadership position.
- 5+ years of HR experience in the UAE.
- Strong working knowledge of UAE labor laws and work requirements.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of experience in an HR leadership role.
- Acute attention to detail with strong multitasking abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders in various situations.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to develop strategies based on data insights.
- Highly organized and able to work under pressure.
Additional Requirements
- Position may require extended hours and weekend work.
- Willingness to travel for short and extended trips as needed, up to 20% travel.
