HVAC Engineer

About the Role
This position involves the design, review, and supervision of HVAC systems, including ducting, chilled water piping, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. The role encompasses preparing and reviewing HVAC shop drawings, layouts, and technical submissions while ensuring that all HVAC installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications, consultant requirements, and applicable UAE standards. You will coordinate HVAC works with electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and other MEP disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and supervise HVAC systems including ducting, chilled water piping, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.
• Prepare and review HVAC shop drawings, layouts, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate HVAC works with other MEP disciplines such as electrical, plumbing, and firefighting.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, consultant requirements, and applicable UAE standards.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor installation progress and quality.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Review material submittals, equipment selections, and technical specifications.
• Support testing, adjusting, balancing (TAB), commissioning, and handover activities.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, health and safety requirements, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4–6 years of Gulf experience in HVAC engineering.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ducting, chilled water systems, and ventilation.
• Experience in reviewing shop drawings and coordinating MEP site activities.
• Knowledge of UAE building codes and relevant HVAC standards.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
