As an HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various construction projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, calculate, and specify HVAC systems in compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate HVAC systems into building designs.
- Prepare detailed HVAC layouts, schematics, and technical documentation using BIM and CAD software.
- Conduct site inspections and supervise the installation and commissioning of HVAC equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance activities to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Ensure HVAC systems comply with relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC engineering, preferably in the construction industry in UAE.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HAP.
- Sound knowledge of HVAC systems, design principles, and industry standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Familiarity with UAE building codes and regulations is preferred.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
