The UX/UI Designer will work within the client experience design team and be responsible for collaborating with the business and developers to continue the design evolution of client digital platforms. This hybrid role requires skills in UX research as well as visual design implementation. The designer will work alongside business stakeholders, product owners, and developers within an agile environment.

User Research & Benchmarking: Conduct extensive research, including benchmarking similar digital experiences, to understand user needs, pain points, and expectations, using these insights to inform design approaches and product strategies.

User Flows & CX: Develop detailed user flows and customer journey maps to visualize complex interactions, ensuring the user experience aligns with business and customer needs.

Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes to explore initial design ideas, gather feedback, and iterate on solutions, continuously refining designs to improve usability and user experience.

Design Implementation: Develop visually appealing and accessible UI designs, adhering to established design systems and style constraints, ensuring final designs align with user research and business goals.

Collaboration & Backlog Management: Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize them in the backlog, ensuring design tasks are well-defined and integrated into the product development roadmap.

Agile Workflow: Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, working closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and iteration as needed.

Validation & Testing: Conduct usability testing to validate design concepts, refine user flows, and gather feedback, adjusting designs based on findings to enhance overall user experience.

Strong background in UX with an emphasis on designing and refining complex user flows before transitioning into UI design.

Proven experience in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and interface design, with a portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX and UI projects.

Experience in working with customer scenarios, mapping out user journeys, and developing user-centric experiences, particularly for consumer-facing websites.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders and product teams.

Minimum 4 years of commercial work experience.

Strong knowledge of design and prototyping tools such as Figma; experience with user research tool Maze is preferred.
