IDE Support / Config Management Engineer (Installation Manuals & PBS)

About the Job:
The role reports to the Team Lead Infrastructure and the Head of Engineering (Chief Engineer). The position is based in Riyadh, with frequent travel required to various locations within Saudi Arabia and occasional international travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, including installation manuals, user guides, and API references, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Support the INFRA with the creation of site type Product Breakdown Structures (PBS).
• Collaborate with the Engineering Team to understand technical details and ensure documentation is comprehensive.
• Participate in the Change Request process and document reviews to improve technical documentation.
• Provide technical writing support to other teams as needed.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve documentation-related issues.
• Schedule due dates for drawings, specifications, software technical manuals, and related documents.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Sciences, or related field.
• Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain certification.
• More than 10 years of relevant experience in supporting large complex programs/projects.
• Advanced knowledge in MS Word and Excel.
• Experience in creating and defining Installation Manuals, such as OEM manuals and Data Sheets.
• Proficient in writing Product Breakdown Structures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, service orientation, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work in a customer-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles and methodologies.
• Willingness to travel and flexibility to adapt to various situations.

Language Requirements:

• Working level of English speaking and writing is required.
