IFE Technician

The IFE Technician reports to the Manager of IFE systems and ensures that all dedicated IFE tasks are performed in a timely manner.

Accountabilities:

• Safety & Quality: Ensure strict adherence to the company's Safety & Quality Regulatory procedures. Oversee staff health, safety, and work performance requirements, verifying that all tasks are executed using approved tooling and maintenance data. Foster a robust safety and incident reporting culture.
• Report on time to duty and execute all IFE tasks allocated during the shift.
• Sign off on own work after completing tasks in accordance with approved data as assigned by certifying staff.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and promptly following current company procedures.
• Support ongoing IFE troubleshooting and assist the assigned staff if required.
• Attend any IFE troubleshooting while on shift.
• Ensure that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct label attached.
• Behave in a manner that reflects a professional approach when dealing with counterparties.

Qualifications:

• Basic aviation familiarity & experience / Apprenticeship.
• 5 years of experience working in a Live Aviation environment in Ramp operations.
• Acceptable knowledge of different IFE & Connectivity systems.
• Familiarity with company policies and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Good English written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• UAE Driving License is preferable.
