IFE Technician

The IFE Technician reports to the Manager of IFE Systems and is responsible for ensuring that all dedicated IFE tasks are performed in a timely manner.

Work Conditions: Full-time
Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates (On-site)

Accountabilities:

• Safety & Quality: Ensure strict adherence to the company's Safety & Quality Regulatory procedures. Proactively oversee staff health, safety, and work performance requirements, verifying that all tasks are executed using approved tooling and maintenance data. Foster a robust safety and incident reporting culture.
• Report on time to duty and execute all IFE tasks allocated during the shift.
• Sign-off own work after having completed tasks in accordance with approved data as assigned by certifying staff.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with current company procedures.
• Support all ongoing IFE troubleshooting and assist the assigned staff as required.
• Attend any IFE troubleshooting while on shift.
• Ensure that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct label attached.
• Behave professionally when dealing with counterparties.

Qualifications:

• Basic aviation familiarity & experience / Apprenticeship.
• Minimum of 5 years working in a live aviation environment in Ramp operations.
• Acceptable knowledge of different IFE & Connectivity systems.
• Familiarity with company policies, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and knowledge of MS Office.
• Proficient in English, with good written and vocal communication skills.
• UAE Driving License preferred.
