Your Role:
- Responsible for validating end-to-end IIoT solutions across devices, edge, network, and cloud ensuring reliable connectivity, data acquisition, and real-world system behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate full pipeline: sensors/devices → gateway/edge → network → IoT platform → AI applications
- Perform device onboarding, provisioning, configuration, and OTA lifecycle testing
- Create and perform test cases and scenarios
- Test industrial protocols (Modbus, MQTT, OPC-UA) and edge data processing
- Validate network performance, latency, and failover (e.g., primary + satellite fallback)
- Verify data integrity, buffering, timestamping, and synchronization between edge and cloud
- Execute lab and field testing under real conditions (intermittent network, load scenarios)
- Troubleshoot device, firmware, and connectivity issues with cross-functional teams
Your Profile:
- Minimum 3 years as an IoT solutions test engineer
- Strong understanding of IIoT architecture (devices, edge, connectivity)
- Hands-on experience with gateways, routers, and embedded systems including network configurations on routers and gateways
- Networking fundamentals (IP, VPN, MQTT, TCP/UDP)
- Experience with debugging tools (logs, packet capture, serial/UART)
- Exposure to IoT platforms (Cumulocity, Litmus, ThingWorx) is a plus
