The company is looking for an Incident Response professional who is both charismatic and articulate. You will work closely with clients and colleagues, leveraging your technical and procedural expertise to educate and assist others. Your role will involve responding to global cyber incidents from internal and external threats, often requiring nontraditional working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to global cyber incidents and help clients mitigate risks associated with recent adversary attacks.
  • Utilize a variety of forensic tools for host centric analysis.
  • Conduct network forensic analysis and leverage telemetry to assist in investigations.
  • Communicate the Incident Response Lifecycle and the Kill Chain (Attack) Life Cycle to various audiences.
  • Assist in scoping incidents and gaining consensus with customers.
  • Participate in incident response engagements and consulting projects.
  • Contribute to process improvements and ensure scalable consulting operations.
  • Develop public-facing materials such as blog posts, podcasts, and presentations.

Required Skills:

  • Familiarity with recent cyber security threats including ransomware, cyber crime, and hacktivism.
  • Understanding of threat hunting theory and the ability to hunt for adversaries on customer networks.
  • Experience conducting Table-Top Exercises and Incident Response Readiness Assessments.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Collaboration with various teams and interface with different business units.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in information security, specifically handling or investigating cyber security incidents is preferred.
  • Willingness to be on-call and work off-shift hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • IT Security Certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, GCIH) are preferred but not required.
