About the Role
Join our team in Dubai, a strategic hub for our Middle East operations. The Indirect Procurement Category Manager EMEA - Professional Services is responsible for managing designated categories of Indirect Spend within the EMEA region to ensure an uninterrupted and timely supply at the optimum cost and quality. This role encompasses supplier sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier performance management. The position focuses on categories under Professional Services & IT such as HR, Office Products, IT, Finance, and Legal. In collaboration with key stakeholders, the manager will define and deploy sourcing strategies across EMEA, build regional supplier relationships, and drive reductions in total cost of ownership.

What You’ll Do
- Provide regional leadership, management, and oversight for the designated Professional Services & IT categories (Total ~$80m spend) in the EMEA region.
- Collaborate with business unit stakeholders and Corporate GPO Global Category Leads to develop and align effective key Category strategies for related categories.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives impacting the P&L and reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) through strategic negotiations with suppliers.
- Define and document a Preferred Supplier List and contracts roadmap in partnership with business units to manage a strategic supply base.
- Lead and support RFP/RFQ exercises, coordinating with regions and managing projects through to deployment.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement using common standards and best practices in procurement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Indirect Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management
- Proven track record in Indirect Procurement of Professional Services & IT (HR, Office Products, IT, Finance, Legal)
- Regional experience in EMEA, especially in Europe
- Familiarity with Procurement tools such as Spend Analysis, Contracts Database, Supplier Management Systems, and Sourcing tools (e.g., Ariba)

- Excellent knowledge of SCM sourcing and supplier management processes
- Strong negotiation skills and contracting experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with top management
- Effective inter-functional interaction in demanding environments
- Service-oriented leadership and efficient negotiation abilities
