Responsibilities
You’ll make an impact by:
- Developing and implementing control system solutions for projects according to customer technical specifications, standards, and engineering practices.
- Creating concepts to solve complex customer requirements and developing project specifications, including necessary clarifications with suppliers and customers, particularly for Water Distribution systems, Chemical & Petrochemical, Oil & Gas related SCADA (On-shore & Off-shore installations), and ESD systems.
- Taking responsibility during the engineering phase for software engineering and integration of third-party systems, as well as hardware planning and monitoring of control cabinet production with engineering partners and subcontractors in Saudi Arabia and abroad (Global Engineering Centers).
- Performing functional tests, optimizations, acceptance, and delivery to the customer, which includes internal tests and factory integration tests.
- Preparing, creating, reviewing, and updating project documentation.
- Supporting technical bidding and collaborating with the bidding team.
- Maintaining regular updates on project execution, team performance, and key developments, ensuring accurate communication and escalation of relevant information to management.
Requirements
Your success is grounded in:
- A qualified professional, preferably with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Electronics or similar field), possessing a minimum of 10-12 years working experience in both operational business (project & service) and non-operational functions (bidding).
- A minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in engineering & commissioning on the company DCS/SCADA – PCS 7, completing project cycles for major customer installations.
- Ability to take on technical lead tasks and manage subprojects within automation projects.
- An understanding of the company product range and its integration into automation and digitization solutions, including third-party products, as well as competitor product features for interfacing.
- Solid knowledge of OT Cybersecurity concepts and experience with OTCC deployments for customers.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP certification) is preferred.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment by respecting diversity and valuing different perspectives.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders, fostering collaboration and resolving conflicts professionally.
- Familiarity with AI-based platforms and eagerness to use the latest technologies.
- Intercultural experience and willingness to travel frequently to customer sites for deployment (approximately 40%).
