Roles and Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and operate Informatica Data Catalog, Data Privacy Management, and Data Governance tools.
- Develop and implement a robust Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RACI) for data governance operations.
- Design and integrate an operational model to support the institution's data governance framework.
- Ensure end-to-end connectivity and oversight of all data across university systems.
- Activate, maintain, and optimize the business glossary and data dictionary functions.
- Define, document, and embed data-related policies, standards, and operational procedures.
- Develop and configure workflow processes within the Data Governance tool.
- Design, implement, and maintain dashboard-based monitoring and reporting mechanisms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Saudi data privacy and protection regulations.
- Provide expert guidance, knowledge transfer, and training to internal teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in data management, data governance, classification, and protection.
- Proven track record in implementing and managing Informatica Data Governance tools.
- Experience working on large-scale data governance initiatives, preferably in the education or public sector.
- Demonstrated work experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with an understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Language Requirements: Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
