Informatica BDM Developer

Speridian Technologies is seeking an experienced Informatica BDM Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in development and design, specifically with Informatica Big Data Management, and will bring a minimum of 4+ years of experience to the role.

Job Description:

• Education: A degree or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 4+ years in Informatica Big Data Management development and design.
  • Extensive knowledge of Oozie scheduling, HQL, Hive, HDFS, data partitioning, SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Proficient in Linux OS configuration and shell scripting.
  • Familiar with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD principles (GitHub, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Knowledgeable in distributed services resiliency and monitoring in production environments.
  • Experience designing, building, testing, and implementing security systems, and identifying security design gaps.
  • High-level understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements related to data security, including encryption and data integrity.
• Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of source and data transfers, including CRON, ETLs, and JDBC-ODBC scripts.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, Proxy, ACL, and policy troubleshooting.
  • Ability to influence teams on technical considerations and enhance productivity through shared expertise.
• Functional Skills:
  • Experience in Agile methodology.
