Key Responsibilities:
- Management responsibility for products in Information Governance.
- Develop productive relationships with business leaders to influence how Information Governance can create new value.
- Manage staff in Information Governance, developing skills to meet organizational needs.
- Provide leadership and direction in developing Information Governance products aligned with strategic goals.
- Act as Product Manager for Information Governance on strategic and BAU digital transformation products and projects.
- Lead efforts in governing data and information across GAC Group to support decision-making by providing timely access to accurate data and reports.
- Educate and train business users on Information Governance and their contributions.
- Manage products and teams related to master & reference data management, including data consolidation and workflow management.
- Oversee compliance and change management related to Information Governance.
Job Requirements:
Technical Knowledge:
- 5+ years of experience in product management in Information Governance.
- 2+ years of managing product development teams.
Educational Qualification:
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in data science, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Professional Qualification:
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
- Strong product management capabilities.
- Experience in analyzing and prioritizing business requirements.
- Initiative and ownership in solving business problems.
- Experience in leading product development teams.
- Background in mentoring and training users in Information Governance.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Specialist Knowledge:
- Expert knowledge of master data management (MDM), data quality management (DQM), metadata management, and data governance methodologies.
- Experience in analyzing and documenting business rules and processes related to MDM, DQM, and data governance.
- Practical experience with technical solutions in these areas, using technologies like Informatica.
Communication:
- Effective communication across all organizational levels.
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Cultural awareness in a multi-cultural corporate environment.
- Good English spoken language skills are essential.
Computer Aptitude:
- Excellent understanding of IT architecture, development, infrastructure, and DevOps.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Visio or similar modeling tools.
