Responsibilities
- Leverage strong Information Security experience to navigate the demands and complexities of the banking/financial sector, with exposure to various banking systems and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a minimum of 10-12 years of relevant Information/Cyber Security experience, with demonstrated Manager-level responsibilities.
- Oversee Information Security Governance/GRC, encompassing policies, standards, risk assessments, risk registers, risk acceptance/exceptions, and compliance.
- Implement and assess UAE IA/NESA requirements, ensuring policies and controls are aligned.
- Manage compliance frameworks, including PCI DSS, SWIFT CSP, VAPT, and other regulatory/security assessments.
- Facilitate the resolution of audit and regulatory findings, ensuring thorough remediation and validation.
- Act as the lead Information Security representative for major projects involving technology, digital, cloud, infrastructure, and applications.
- Coordinate multiple security and regulatory projects simultaneously while liaising effectively with IT, Business, Risk, Audit, Compliance, PMO, and external parties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISM, CRISC, CISA, and/or CISSP are preferred.
- Deep understanding of information security and technology infrastructure.
- Extensive experience in implementing NESA requirements and developing associated information security policies.
- Exceptional creative thinking skills to explore alternatives and problem-solving methods.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with senior non-technical users without jargon.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-changing IT environment and stay updated on new security technologies.
- Proficient in multi-tasking with the capacity to manage several concurrent projects and prioritize effectively.
