Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives in Information Security within the banking and financial sector, leveraging extensive knowledge of banking systems and regulatory frameworks.
- Oversee the development and implementation of information security policies in compliance with NESA requirements.
- Manage a broad range of security governance and risk management activities, including the creation of policies, standards, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives.
- Ensure hands-on management of UAE IA/NESA, including security assessments and policy/control alignment.
- Handle PCI DSS, SWIFT CSP, VAPT, and other regulatory/security assessments effectively.
- Facilitate remediation of audit and regulatory findings to ensure validated closure.
- Act as the Information Security lead for major technology, digital, cloud, infrastructure, and application projects, ensuring all activities are aligned with security best practices.
- Coordinate security and regulatory projects with various stakeholders, including IT, Business, Risk, Audit, Compliance, PMO, and external parties to ensure seamless execution.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Professional Qualifications: CISM, CRISC, CISA, CISSP certification is preferred.
- Experience: 10 to 12 years of experience in relevant fields, particularly in the banking/financial sector.
- Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of information security and technology infrastructure.
- Familiarity with NESA requirements implementation.
- Strong creativity in problem-solving and the ability to think outside the box.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey concepts to senior nontechnical users.
- Adaptability to the fast-paced IT landscape and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest security technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing demands.
