Responsibilities
- Provide strong Information Security management within the banking/financial sector to navigate various systems and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a minimum of 10–12 years of relevant experience in Information/Cyber Security with associated Manager-level responsibilities.
- Oversee Information Security Governance/GRC processes including policies, standards, risk assessments, and compliance management.
- Implement and align policies and controls according to UAE IA/NESA requirements through hands-on experience.
- Manage PCI DSS, SWIFT CSP, VAPT, and complete regulatory/security assessments proficiently.
- Address audit/regulatory findings with a focus on remediation and ensuring validated closure.
- Act as the Information Security lead for significant technology, digital, cloud, infrastructure, and application projects.
- Manage multiple security and regulatory projects effectively, coordinating with IT, Business, Risk, Audit, Compliance, PMO, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Professional certifications such as CISM, CRISC, CISA, and/or CISSP are highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of information security and technology infrastructure.
- Extensive experience with NESA requirements implementation and the development of information security policies.
- Strong creative thinking skills for problem-solving in a conceptual framework approach.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with senior non-technical users effectively.
- Adaptability to a fast-moving IT landscape and the capability to keep pace with new security technologies.
- Proven multi-tasking abilities to manage various concurrent projects and prioritize demands.
