About the Role
We are currently seeking an Information Security Manager to oversee our UAE operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the banking and financial sector, demonstrating key exposure to various banking systems and regulatory requirements. This role requires the ability to manage multiple security and regulatory projects effectively while coordinating with various departments, including IT, Business, Risk, Audit, Compliance, PMO, and external parties.

Responsibilities
- Maintain strong information security governance and compliance (GRC), including the development and enforcement of policies, standards, risk assessments, and risk registers.
- Ensure adherence to UAE Information Assurance (IA) and NESA requirements through hands-on implementation, assessment, and policy/control alignment.
- Manage various security frameworks, including PCI DSS, SWIFT CSP, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), and regulatory/security assessments.
- Drive the remediation and validated closure of audit and regulatory findings.
- Act as the Information Security lead for major technology, digital, cloud, infrastructure, and application projects.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to convey complex security concepts to senior non-technical users.
- Exhibit creative problem-solving abilities, staying adaptable in a fast-paced IT landscape, and being open to new security technologies.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing tasks effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10-12 years of relevant Information/Cyber Security experience, preferably in managerial roles within the banking/financial sector.
- In-depth knowledge of information security and technology infrastructure.
- Experience with NESA requirements implementation and in developing information security policies aligned with NESA.
- Relevant professional certifications, ideally CISM, CRISC, CISA, and/or CISSP.
