Responsibilities
- Provide strong information security experience within the banking/financial sector, vital for navigating various banking systems, regulatory requirements, and managing a high volume of concurrent activities.
- Possess approximately 10–12 years of relevant Information/Cyber Security experience with appropriate manager-level responsibilities.
- Manage Information Security Governance/GRC processes including policies, standards, risk assessments, risk registers, risk acceptance/exceptions, and compliance.
- Hands-on application of UAE IA/NESA, encompassing implementation, assessments, and policy/control alignment.
- Oversee PCI DSS, SWIFT CSP, VAPT, and regulatory/security assessments to ensure compliance and security.
- Effectively manage audit/regulatory findings through remediation and ensure validated closure.
- Act as the Information Security lead for major projects across technology, digital, cloud, infrastructure, and applications.
- Coordinate and manage multiple security/regulatory projects simultaneously, collaborating with IT, Business, Risk, Audit, Compliance, PMO, and external parties.
About You
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISM, CRISC, CISA, and/or CISSP are preferred.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of information security and technology infrastructure.
- Experienced in implementing NESA requirements and developing information security policies aligned with these standards.
- Possess creative thinking skills with the ability to consider alternatives and build conceptual frameworks for problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with senior, non-technical users without resorting to technical jargon.
- Adaptable to a fast-moving IT landscape, keeping pace with the latest trends and security technologies.
- Skilled in multitasking, able to manage several concurrent projects and prioritize demands efficiently.
