Responsibilities
- Strong Information Security experience within the banking/financial sector, essential for exposure to various banking systems and regulatory requirements.
- Approximately 10-12 years of relevant Information/Cyber Security experience, with managerial responsibilities.
- Governance and Risk Compliance (GRC) experience covering policies, standards, risk assessments, risk registers, and compliance.
- Hands-on experience with UAE Information Assurance (IA)/NESA, including implementation, assessments, and policy/control alignment.
- Management of PCI DSS, SWIFT CSP, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) and regulatory/security assessments.
- Proven track record in managing audit/regulatory findings through appropriate remediation and validated closure.
- Act as the Information Security lead for significant technology, digital, cloud, infrastructure, and application projects.
- Ability to manage multiple security/regulatory projects concurrently and coordinate effectively with IT, business, risk, audit, compliance, PMO, and external parties.
- Maintain and implement information security policies in line with NESA requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Professional certifications such as CISM, CRISC, CISA, and/or CISSP are preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of information security and technology infrastructure.
- Experience with NESA requirements implementation and policy development.
- Creative thinking ability to explore alternative solutions and conceptual frameworks for problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to senior non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving IT landscape and stay updated with the latest security technologies.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities for managing various concurrent projects and prioritizing demands effectively.
