Responsibilities
- Drive strong Information Security initiatives within the banking/financial sector considering extensive exposure to various banking systems, regulatory requirements, and the management of concurrent activities.
- Leverage 10–12 years of relevant Information/Cyber Security experience with Manager-level responsibilities.
- Maintain robust Information Security Governance/GRC practices, including policies, standards, risk assessments, risk registers, risk acceptance/exceptions, and compliance monitoring.
- Oversee hands-on implementation of UAE IA/NESA recommendations, assessments, and policy/control alignment.
- Manage PCI DSS, SWIFT CSP, VAPT, and conduct regulatory/security assessments diligently.
- Address audit/regulatory findings effectively, ensuring remediation and validated closure is achieved.
- Serve as the Information Security lead for major technology, digital, cloud, infrastructure, and application projects.
- Coordinate multiple security/regulatory projects efficiently, interfacing with IT, Business, Risk, Audit, Compliance, PMO, and external parties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Professional/Technical Qualifications: CISM/CRISC/CISA/CISSP certification.
- 10-12 years of experience in the information security field, particularly in banking and finance.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of information security and technology infrastructure.
- Extensive experience with NESA requirements Implementation and developing security policies aligned with these standards.
- Creative thinking skills to develop alternative solutions and conceptual frameworks for problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with senior non-technical stakeholders using non-technical language.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-evolving IT landscape, keeping pace with the latest trends and security technologies.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities, managing several concurrent projects while effectively prioritizing tasks.
