Information Security - Manager - NESA- Banking

About the Role
We are seeking a highly qualified Information Security Manager for our operations in the UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of information security within the banking and financial sectors and demonstrate the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments. This role requires a strategic thinker who can spearhead information security initiatives and ensure compliance with national security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee Information Security operations with a focus on the banking/financial sector, including exposure to various banking systems and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement information security policies aligned with NESA requirements.
• Ensure compliance with governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) standards, including policies, standards, risk assessments, and risk registers.
• Lead security assessments, audits, and remediation efforts to address audit/regulatory findings.
• Serve as the Information Security lead for major technology projects, including digital, cloud, infrastructure, and applications.
• Manage multiple concurrent security/regulatory projects and coordinate with IT, Business, Risk, Audit, Compliance, PMO, and external partners.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in information security and adapt to the fast-paced IT landscape.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10 - 12 years of relevant experience in Information/Cyber Security, ideally within the banking/financial sector.
• Professional certifications such as CISM, CRISC, CISA, and/or CISSP are preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of NESA requirements and hands-on experience with UAE IA/NESA, including implementation and compliance assessment.
• Proven abilities in managing PCI DSS, SWIFT CSP, VAPT, and other regulatory/security assessments.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with senior non-technical users and convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement alternative approaches.
