Information Technology Asset Manager

The primary role of the Information Technology Asset Manager is to oversee all Asset Management operations and coordinate the management of technology-related hardware within the organization on a daily basis.

Job Description:

• Plan, monitor, and record software license and hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts.
• Develop and implement procedures for tracking department assets to oversee quality control throughout their lifecycle.
• Ensure optimal inventory target setting and continual review.
• Coordinate annual physical inventory.
• Collaborate with procurement and contracts section as well as the strategic planning office to ensure seamless cross-department processes.
• Define and monitor KPIs of Store and Materials function.
• Manage and monitor the budget for the purchase of assets and other resources.
• Provide performance data (KPIs) as per the primary functions of the section.
• Undertake other tasks assigned by the line manager or senior management.
• Adhere to HR laws, confidentiality policies, and other applicable organizational policies.
• Maintain information assets and ensure the security and confidentiality of information.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Asset Management, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: 5 years of relevant experience in asset or store management, particularly in a comparable size organization within the ICT industry.

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent knowledge of asset and inventory management principles.
• Management skills to coordinate between different departments.
• Strong understanding of transaction processing and business systems.

Language Requirements: Native Arabic speaker with proficiency in English preferred.
