Information Technology Officer

This position is focused on administering local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN), managing network segments, and ensuring operational effectiveness of Internet and intranet services using TCP/IP networking protocols within a Windows-based operating environment. The ideal candidate will need to evaluate and recommend purchases for computers, network hardware, peripheral equipment, and software, as well as troubleshoot and resolve any arising issues by identifying their source, developing potential solutions, and implementing fixes. Responsibilities also include the installation, configuration, and maintenance of personal computers, servers, Ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related technologies. Furthermore, the role involves managing modems, disk drives, printers, and conducting software and application development, installation, and upgrades while overseeing compliance with site licenses. Additionally, the position requires monitoring the performance of networks and systems to ensure they operate efficiently.
