About the Role
As a key member of the IT team, you will install, configure, manage, maintain, test, evaluate, and repair computer networks and workstations. This role includes supporting server systems, hardware/software, user accounts, and computer/telephone rooms. You will also provide training and instruction to users regarding the proper use and security of all systems. Troubleshooting technical problems related to computer hardware, software, LAN/WAN, and internet connectivity will be a significant part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will offer network communications support and technical guidance, referring major issues to vendors or technicians as necessary.
You will analyze and recommend process improvements while consulting with others to assess, analyze, and resolve computing needs and system requirements. Responsibilities also include inspecting, testing, and diagnosing computer equipment and systems, planning and coordinating information technology-related equipment installations, as well as network security measures. You will be responsible for end-user support for all applications and managing disk space for the entire network while ensuring accurate inventory of all technological devices. Ensuring the security of backup tapes, you will lock them in a fireproof safe.
Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Address guest service needs and assist other employees as needed.
  • Use clear and professional language when communicating; answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
  • Be a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with others in order to support the team in reaching common goals.
  • Adhere to quality expectations and standards; identify and implement new ways to improve organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Utilize computers/Point of Sale (POS) systems to enter and locate information.
  • Navigate stairs and ramps as necessary.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
    Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
  • License or Certification: None required.
