About the Role We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic IT professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests. As an IT Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and security of all computer hardware and systems within the organization. Key Responsibilities - Monitor the operation and security of all computer hardware and ensure that it is operating properly. - Serve as the primary contact for all servicing of computers, printers, and related equipment. - Maintain a sufficient inventory of all office and computer supplies. - Keep all hardware and software logs updated according to departmental procedures. - Document all hardware configurations and inventory accurately. - Maintain documentation of the telephone system configuration and all MPT lines. - Understand departmental working procedures and perform tasks as described. - Carry out repairs and maintenance of all PCs, printers, telephones, interactive systems, key lock systems, etc. - Manage all user access requests and authorizations (Windows 2000, Email, Opera, Micros, Novell). - Respond to all user requests and provide adequate support. Education/Qualifications A degree in the Information Technology field is required, along with previous experience in a similar role. Proven knowledge in the operation and maintenance of the relevant equipment is essential. A good command of English and the ability to fault-find and rectify subsystems are also crucial. Knowledge Competencies The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a hands-on and flexible approach, able to adapt to unpredictable events. You should be proactive, reliable, and thrive in a busy environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Attention to detail is key.
