Information Technology Support Engineer job in Dubai

Position

As a Level-1 IT & AV Support Engineer, you will provide first-line technical support for end-user devices, audio-visual (AV) equipment, and basic network/server room activities. Your role will involve delivering Level-1 support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and Microsoft 365 applications. You will be responsible for setting up devices, installing software, and managing user accounts, as well as configuring and operating AV systems for classrooms, meetings, and events. Additionally, you will conduct basic network diagnostics and support server room maintenance, log incidents in ITSM tools, maintain IT/AV asset inventory, and ensure endpoint security compliance. Collaboration with internal IT teams and external vendors is also essential, along with providing after-hours support when required.

This position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is full-time, requiring flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Level-1 IT support within enterprise or public sector.
Bachelor’s degree or a 3-year diploma in Computer Science or related field.
Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware/software issues across endpoints and AV equipment.
Basic networking knowledge and familiarity with ITSM tools.
Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
