In this role, you will maintain critical infrastructure and provide essential support to meet our business needs. Collaborating with colleagues, you will participate in innovative projects and be an integral part of a multinational team. Your responsibilities include ensuring all IT equipment and infrastructure operate at optimal performance, managing project implementations, and supervising a team of IT technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a support service to ensure optimal performance of IT equipment and infrastructure, meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Run projects across the site to implement changes and additions to the technology infrastructure.
  • Supervise and manage workloads of IT technicians, reporting to the IT manager and regional IT management.
  • Review and execute change management requests as needed.
  • Manage IT equipment and infrastructure availability, focusing on continuous improvement and cost reduction.
  • Conduct random audits on technical infrastructure to ensure compliance with IT and Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Act as a liaison for contractors or external suppliers, communicating technical issues and company standards clearly.
  • Undertake project management, including maintaining project documentation and stakeholder communication.
  • Provide technical support for site and team projects, and carry out ad-hoc requests.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience in Linux/Unix and MS Windows System Support.
  • Background in Networking (LAN/WAN, Wireless) and understanding of core internet technologies (Routing, Switching, DNS, DHCP, OSI Model).
  • Telecom knowledge, including VOIP/SIP and mobile technologies, is advantageous.
  • Experience in a customer-facing technical role with strong communication skills.
  • Supervision experience or leadership capabilities in a team setting.
  • Project management experience and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills and proven problem-solving ability.
  • Flexibility and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to create clear and concise documentation.
  • Willingness to learn and apply new technology.
  • Availability to travel up to 25%.
  • Vendor certifications in relevant areas would be beneficial (e.g., Linux/Unix, Microsoft, Cisco).
  • Additional qualifications in IT/ICT or experience in Help Desk/Technical support management are advantageous.
