Information Technology Support Specialist

As an Information Technology Support Specialist, you will provide first and second level support for end device equipment including laptops, desktops, printers, barcode scanners, network systems, and CCTV. Your responsibilities will include enforcing Information Security Management System policies and procedures for Asset Management, License Management, and Service Level Management. You will manage the inventory of spares and stocks for all end-user IT assets and implement change control procedures while tracking asset performance and financials. Daily interactions with both internal and external end users and customers are essential to achieving department and work unit goals. You will coordinate with the IT Helpdesk and suppliers to resolve user hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops, as well as work with Procurement and suppliers for the purchase of IT assets. Additionally, you will provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues, both remotely and onsite within the UAE.

Technical Skills Required:

• Solid attention to detail and the ability to create and document processes and procedures
• Good verbal and written communication skills with internal IT colleagues, business leaders, and the external audit community
• Ability to work in a busy environment with a positive approach while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of desktop hardware, operating systems, and software
• Good understanding of network systems and protocols, as well as server hardware and operating systems.
