Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Oversee daily operations for compute, storage, backup, network, and datacenter services.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the primary escalation contact for clients, resolving issues promptly.
- Service Enhancements: Identify and implement improvements to infrastructure performance and reliability.
- SLA Management: Ensure adherence to service level agreements, monitor performance, and report on compliance.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with IT infrastructure.
- Project Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives and cost efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor IT teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Incident Response: Coordinate and manage incident response efforts to minimize downtime and ensure quick resolution.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors to procure necessary hardware, software, and services efficiently.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 12+ years of proven experience in managing complex IT infrastructure (multiple datacenters), including compute, storage, backup, network, and datacenter operations.
- Skills: Strong leadership, project management, and client communication skills. Proficiency in managing SLAs, risks, and budgets.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or equivalent are preferred.
