About the Job
The role holder is responsible for developing, governing, and sustaining the end-to-end infrastructure architecture and long-term technology roadmap across Mobile, Fixed, Core, Transport, Telco/IT Cloud, Hyperscalers, Data Centres, Satellite/NTN, and emerging technologies. The role provides senior technical leadership and expert advisory support, influencing decisions from strategic planning to solution execution. The role acts as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, bridging domain silos, arbitrating complex design decisions, and translating long-term technology evolution into practical architectural direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor change in Infrastructure Architecture providing guidance and support for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with Infrastructure principles and standards in coordination with Technology Architecture Governance.
• Develop future-state infrastructure architecture focusing on AI-native networks, GPU-enabled infrastructure, and Cloud-RAN.
• Simplify architecture components for network to drive operational excellence and cost optimization.
• Manage the technical architecture for Infrastructure and Operations including Mobile, Fixed, Core, and emerging technologies.
• Identify and guide the adoption of emerging technologies across all infrastructure domains for business and operational value.
• Lead architectural due diligence for new technology introductions including partnerships and early deployments.
• Mentor domain architects and drive infrastructure architecture modernization aligned with cloudification and AI-native networks.

Requirements

• 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3-4 years in telecom infrastructure architecture or technology strategy.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale Technology Architecture Transformation and Implementation programs.
• Strong exposure to AI-enabled networks, cloudification, edge computing, and 5G-Advanced concepts.

Education

• Bachelor Degree in Telecommunications Engineering
• Master's Degree in Engineering or Computing
• Preferred certifications in Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF) and related to ITIL or Technology Operating Models (TOM).
