Role Overview
The IT Infrastructure Lead will oversee the specification, configuration, and maintenance of all on-premises IT infrastructure. This role is critical during the setup phase and involves ongoing support and maintenance once the infrastructure is established. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and managing IT solutions, particularly using Microsoft-based on-premises resources.
Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Management:
- Lead the specification, configuration, and maintenance of all on-premises IT infrastructure.
- Networking: Configure local networking, including switch/VLAN setups to ensure seamless connectivity between capture devices, processing PCs, and file servers, as well as manage connectivity to the internet and Azure cloud services.
- On-Premises Resources: Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of on-premises processing PCs and manage file servers to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Cloud Resources: Handle the configuration and integration of Azure cloud resources as required.

Project Involvement:
- Initially required full-time during the equipment purchasing, setup, and build phases.
- Potential for part-time or shared responsibilities once the infrastructure is fully established and stable.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support as needed to ensure smooth operation.
Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in architecting and specifying IT solutions of a similar scale, particularly in a production or studio environment. Extensive experience configuring and maintaining Microsoft-based on-premises hardware and software, such as Windows PCs and Active Directory services.

Technical Skills: Strong expertise in networking, including VLAN and switch configurations, and familiarity with Azure cloud services and their integration with on-premises infrastructure.

Key Involvement Areas:
- Setup and Launch Preparation: Actively participate in the setup and launch phases, including the configuration of file servers, processing farms, local network infrastructure, and Azure storage resources.
- Ongoing Support: Provide on-call IT support and maintenance to ensure the infrastructure remains operational.
