Infrastructure Engineer

Help AG, an e& enterprise company, is looking for a talented and experienced Infrastructure Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining Help AG’s infrastructure and ensuring the continuity of business operations for its employees. This team member plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of Help AG’s IT infrastructure, encompassing server, networking, and cloud architecture. The Infrastructure Engineer will also be responsible for developing solutions to streamline workloads for Help AG employees. This position includes growth opportunities related to the future development and planning of new IT infrastructures at Help AG, with a focus on security, efficiency, costs, and operational stability.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of Help AG's security posture using the M365 E5 suite of tools and security controls (Intune, Purview, Defender, Sentinel).
• Maintain existing M365 modern workplace deployments and deploy new solutions as they become available.
• Collaborate on projects for new system deployments, infrastructure enhancements, and daily improvements across Microsoft Azure and on-prem environments.
• Maintain the broader Help AG network and infrastructure across the GCC region.
• Develop policies and procedures governing IT functions, including M365 components.
• Provide escalation support for Help AG end users and manage logged tickets or reported issues.
• Ensure infrastructure security through software updates and patching.
• Respond to on-site incidents and activities in Help AG’s offices or customer premises, as well as to SOC alerts and reported incidents.
• Validate monthly Active Directory reviews and system access.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in information security or IT-related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with the Microsoft 365 suite of tools in a medium to large organization.
• Microsoft Certified with credentials in Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administration Expert, Microsoft 365 Security Administrator, Azure Security Engineer, and Azure Architect Expert.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, Purview, and Defender, along with practical skills in policy development and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with complex cloud infrastructures utilizing native technologies to manage security, cost, and performance.
• Experience in maintaining server and endpoint operating system stability and security posture, including software/hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with NGFW solutions, preferably Palo Alto and Fortinet.
• Excellent documentation, diagramming, and professional change management practices.
• Understanding of information security concepts and related technologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Strong adaptability, organization skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters effectively and with integrity.
